Our eggs

We don't necessarily have a normal flock of laying hens. Ours are a mismatched bunch of characters, heritage birds, all fed a gorgeous NON GMO diet including kelp and flax for additional omega fatty acids . The egg shells are mostly brown but could be blue from our silkies or white from our polish silver laced. We also have duck eggs availabe, they are lovely and rich, mostly yolk.  If you have never had duck eggs or a farm fresh egg  I encourage you to treat yourselves, they are completely different than those from the grocery store!

Welcome to our farm.

I am excited to start this blog, many of you may know us from our horse rescue. Obviously one of my great loves is horses, another is music ( a good song is a gift) but my love of food, and more importantly, growing our own food is a passion. I wanted to create a separate page for our farms to share info, and our recipes,  we are more than just a rescue.  We also raise gorgeous poultry, all non gmo chicken, duck, turkey and goose. Chicken and duck eggs, and seasonal Veggies when available.  We will also have a variety of quality items for sale, like a yard sale, many new or gently used items. We have planned opening our store this coming weekend. I will post pics of items avail in store.
